She has been at St Joseph's since 2011 and has worked as a Playleader, Learning support assistant and now Teacher. Mrs Daubney is really passionate about the Early years and the importance of learning through play. She lives in Thatcham with her husband and two year old son, and enjoys walks in the wood, video games and lego!
Miss Nicole Fulker - Year 1

Miss Fulker qualified as a teacher in 2013 completing my BEd Primary Teaching at The University of Gloucestershire. Since qualifying, I have worked in a variety of schools across the South of England. I started working in Catholic Education in the diocese of Birmingham in 2017. I joined St Joseph's in September 2019. I live in West Berkshire and love sport, baking and socialising with my friends and family.
Miss Harriett Bennett - Year 2

Miss Bennett graduated with a degree in Costume Design. After some time working in theatre and film she moved on to working in a school in Reading as an Art Technician. She then qualified with QTS in 2019 at the University of Reading; spending most of her training year at St. Joseph’s. Miss Bennett is passionate about creativity in learning. She lives in West Berkshire and is often found walking her dog or swimming!
Mrs Jo Whitehead - Year 3

Mrs Whitehead graduated with a degree in Biophysics and Genetics and then worked in the science research industry. After having her two children, and being a stay-at-home mum for several years, she then retrained and qualified as a teacher with QTS in 2010. She worked in many of the local schools as a supply teacher before starting at St Joseph's in 2013. Mrs Whitehead loves being outside in nature, walking through the woods, swimming in lakes or being out on her bike on the trails (hence why she loves going on school residential so much!). She also loves to do yoga.

She lives in a village outside Newbury with her husband and three children and enjoys cooking, running (slowly), yoga and has just discovered the joys of open water swimming.
Miss Lisa Holmes - Year 4
I have worked within education for the last 8 years whilst I completed my BA (Hons) in Education Studies (Primary) with the Open University. This year I qualified as a teacher and achieved my QTS through the Downland Alliance where I was based at a local primary school. I am incredibly excited to finally begin my career as a teacher and share my passion for learning alongside the children.
I live in central Newbury with my partner, daughter and my two mischievous dogs! In my free time I enjoy cross country running, walking my dogs around Greenham Common and going swimming. As a family we love spending our weekends together so we often play Harry Potter Cluedo, build new sets of Lego or visit historical places. If I have a quiet 5 minutes, there is nothing I love to do more than read my book with a nice hot cup of tea!
Mr Michael Robinson - Year 5

Mr Robinson qualified as a teacher in 2008 completing his PGCE at Roehampton University and he undertook his undergraduate study at Lincoln University. After qualifying he worked at Kintbury and since 2012 has worked in Catholic Education in the diocese of Portsmouth and joined St Joseph's in Sept 2014 as a class teacher and RE leader. He is passionate about the importance of Catholic Education. He lives in West Berkshire with his wife and two children and enjoys watching sport and reading''
Mrs Angie Westall - Year 5

I have been teaching for 20 years, previously working as a LSA for a one to one . in addition to this I also ran my own business as a dog behaviourist / mobile Pet Shop for three years.
After achieving my degree in Animal Science, I trained to be a teacher at St Joseph’s and through the many changes, still hold my teaching role at St Joseph’s.
I have three boys - my oldest is aged 10, and my twins who are 7.
I enjoy science, reading, walking, observing animals in their natural habitat and of course have a passion for teaching young minds, watching them explore, learn and achieve their full potential.
Life is busy, fun, challenging, enjoyable and hectic – but I wouldn’t change it for the world!
Mrs Hannah Murphy - Year 6

I have been a teacher in West Berkshire since 1998 when I graduated from the University of Reading with a Batchelor of Arts in Education with English specialism. I am still passionate about all aspects of teaching English from picture books to story writing and even grammar and spelling! I enjoy reading (and writing) myself when I have the time. I am keen to support trainee teachers and new teachers joining the profession and have worked for many years alongside local training providers as a mentor and induction tutor.
I live in a small village just outside Newbury with my husband and three children. I love walking our dog in the beautiful countryside where we are lucky enough to live and also enjoy cooking and baking for family and friends. As a family we are also keen tv and film fans and love nothing more than discussing the Marvel multiverse or building a themed Lego set!
